After we dropped off the team, we were still able to troll back to Kahului harbor. We caught a small Aku and a Mahimahi.

The two WESPAC buoys on the North Shore are in!
September 1, 2011 - News

These buoys have a 1 ½ mile swing in both directions, so you’ll have to look good.
Birds have been showing up and Mahimahi have already been caught there.
The coordinates are……
KC1: 21-17-983
156-16-534
KC2: 21-08-917
155-50-533
These buoys are funded by WESPAC, so we as fishermen need to fill out a separate fish catch report at www.fishbox.org on the fish that are caught at these buoys.

*Bottom fishing season started today! For all the rules and locations go to www.hawaii.gov/dlnr/dar/fishing_bottom.html or call State Division of Aquatic Resources (808) 587-0594.
